Fri Sept 18:  Shelburne VT to Burlington VT

We had our maintenance taken care of in Shelburne and then back tracked about half an hour to Burlington.

The wind was fierce so we were glad for the short trip, and we got into our slip smoothly with the help of a couple dock hands.

Spirit of the Ethan Allen III, an excursion boat and floating restaurant. Some choose this venue for their weddings.
The University of Vermont’s primary research vessel in Burlington is the R/V Marcelle Melosira, a state-of-the-art, 64-foot hybrid-electric aluminum catamaran., named in part for Marcelle Leahy, the wife of former U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy.
We had dinner outside right on the water. It was a little chilly at first, but well worth it for the spectacular sunset views.
There was a big end of season music festival going on.
And then there was the moon.
