Thurs Sept 17:  Rouses Point NY to Shelburne VT

The water was glassy smooth this morning as we left the Richelieu River and started down Lake Champlain with Vermont to the east where the Green Mountains were just in view and New York to the west where we could just see the Adirondacks.

We passed by Burlington for the time being.
The bow pulpit looks naked without the Canadian flag on it anymore.

It was a relaxing day without any locks and straightforward navigation down the middle of Lake Champlain for the most part.
