Sun Sept 13: Montréal

We spent the day walking through Vieux-Montréal to Notre-Dame Basilica and back to Le Vieux-Port de Montréal.  It’s an historic, European-style neighborhood with 17th-19th century architecture and coblestone streets.

You just can’t get away from Bob. Although this looks distinctly more like a Robert Big Boy to me.
This also made me laugh, a whole store devoted to rubber duckies. This was just a small sample of the selection at Le Petit Duck Shoppe.
Glad the Québécois feel the same way about chocolate that I do.

We made a few stops to have a coffee and cheese croissant and later for crêpes. 

We also walked the restored Marche de Bonsecours which originally was the city’s main public market.
