We traveled east on the Ottawa River for three hours. Along this stretch, the river is the border between Quebec to the north and Ontario to the south.
There was lots of recreational boating traffic on the holiday.
We docked at a fancy resort marina called Château de Montebello and ate a fancy dinner at one of the restaurants there, which, for both of us, was one of the best meals we’ve had on the entire trip.
