We often notice a distinct tree line when crossing out of the rivers and smaller bays out into wider Georgian Bay where there is suddenly much less soil on the more isolated islands.
We ducked into very popular Frying Pan Bay just to see what all the hype was about. It was a lovely spot, but crowded with boats.
We stopped at a restaurant for dinner where the only available seating was outdoors on the patio, so despite seeing storm clouds heading our way, that’s were we ordered dinner. Sure enough the rain came pouring down on us. I decided Peter must really love me because he held an umbrella over me so my meal wouldn’t get soggy.
