It was overcast and cool with smooth water as we made our way back toward Parry Sound.

We were only 40 miles away from the Bustereds, but there were many more mature trees on the islands and shoreline.

We came across a cormorant feast: https://photos.app.goo.gl/avoapfNZQSCczJmc6

We passed Kill Bear Provincial Park where several boats were anchored 50 feet from beach and stern tied.

We met up again with Sue and Duane, the Ontario couple on Time for Us. They were in Parry Sound marina meeting up with their son and daughter in law to celebrate Sue’s birthday.

Aug 2:

Duane stopped by the boat and helped us scope out and map some more anchorages he was familiar with.

Sunset at marina
We saw a double rainbow from the restaurant patio.
