Thurs July 23:  Parry Sound to Hopewell Bay

It was a stunning, bright day.  The wind in the continuing narrow channels kept us, well, Peter mostly, on our toes.

Only enough room for one boat our size through Canoe Channel.  Maybe you can fit more than one canoe.  Maybe.
This actually looks deceptively wide.  There were rocks just below the surface immediately at the side of Jack Tar.

It was another day of spectacular scenery, but it was hard for Peter to enjoy because of the rocks just below the surface at every turn.

These kids and their dog look like they’re walking on water, but actually they’re walking on the rocks just below the surface. They were camping on the Franklin Islands, with their boat beached just around the corner.

Never tired of the anchorage sunsets.
