Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇲

We buddy-boated with the three other boats today (the same couples we had dinner with last night) through each of the locks.

Reminded us of the Thousand Islands
waiting to lock up at Lovesick

Two of our flotilla went ahead to Buckhorn, but it started raining pretty hard, so Sue and Charlie on Curiosity and Peter and I decided to grab the lockwall spots at Lovesick.  Lovesick is unique in that it is on an island and only accessible by boat.  It is totally isolated and has no services.

Peter decided to take advantage of the rain to clean the cockpit.

The rainstorm gave way to a beautiful sunny evening, and our very kind and generous boating neighbors took us on a lovely sunset dinghy cruise around Lovesick Island. It was a whole new perspective, and nice and cool, right on top of the water.
