Tues June 2 & Wed June 3: Troy NY

We took a couple of days to reprovision, wash the boat down (there was a lot of remaining saltwater to get off), and wait for a new large fender to arrive which we’ll need in the locks.

Last night, Peter couldn’t wait to go to the BBQ restaurant next to the marina that we went to four years ago. Obviously, it made an impression 🙂 So last night we ordered enough to last us two nights at Dinosaur BBQ.  Yum!

I took advantage of the wi-fi at a nearby coffee shop, so I’ve finally been able to publish some of the posts I’ve been saving.

This evening, an AMAZING band called Family Tree was playing on the other side of the dock wall for Wake up Wednesdays – The Troy Music Revue Feat.

Tomorrow, we have our first flight of locks on the Erie Canal.

I enjoy reading about your adventures. We have been to Troy, but not by boat. It’s great when you happen to stumble upon amazing live music. The pictures are beautiful. We are hoping to travel the Hudson River in the near future. Safe Travels. Hello to Peter. 😊
